The Kimberley is home to some incredible creatures, and none are quite as awe-inspiring (or slightly terrifying) as the saltwater crocodile. If you're looking for a thrill on your Broome adventure, Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park is a must-do.
Just 15 minutes from Broome, this park boasts a giant fiberglass crocodile head as its entrance – a perfect photo opportunity before you enter the world of these prehistoric predators. Prepare to be mesmerized (and maybe a little intimidated) as you witness a feeding frenzy unlike any other.
Watch (but definitely don't participate!) as over 2,500 hungry crocodiles lunge for their lunch. These enormous creatures will have you questioning who's really watching whom!
While the crocodiles are the undisputed stars of the show. Explore the park and discover a diverse range of Australian wildlife. Keep an eye out for colourful birdlife flitting through the trees, spot kangaroos grazing in the outback sun, and even encounter dingoes, the iconic wild dog of Australia.
Planning Your Visit:
The park is open daily from 2 PM to 5 PM, with the crocodile feeding show happening at 3 PM.
Remember, this is a wildlife encounter, so be sure to observe the park's safety guidelines and maintain a safe distance from the animals.
