Walpa Gorge, nestled within Kata Tjuta National Park, offers a breathtaking scenic walk through towering domes. The 3-kilometer round trip takes around 90 minutes, starting at a car park near the visitor centre. As you descend into the gorge, you'll be surrounded by towering sandstone walls and lush vegetation, leading to a serene pool of water at the bottom.

To make the most of your day, explore other highlights of the area. Karingana Lookout provides panoramic views of the Kata Tjuta domes, perfect for sunrise or sunset. The Kata Tjuta National Park Visitor Centre offers information on the park's history, culture, and geology. If time permits, the Valley of the Winds is another scenic trail with narrow gorges and valleys.
