The wild quokkas run their own routines. Resist the urge to chase or corner them for a photo. Instead, find a shaded area where quokkas are known to graze and settle in quietly. Patience is key – the perfect photo might take a while, but it will be worth the wait! Giving them the space and time allows them to feel safe and not threatened by people, which will allow them to come closer to you and investigate. Make sure not to offer them food, it is harmful to their health, and feeding them disrupts their natural feeding habits.
Getting the angle right starts off by getting down low, eye level is most ideal for a natural and engaging photo. Now the trick, flip the phone upside down for the better angle and make sure to have the flash off.
