More than cascading water, Meekadarabee Falls is culturally significant for the past, present, and emerging Aboriginals. Known by the traditional custodians, the Wadandi people, know this area as ‘Balinjup’ translating to "the bathing place of the moon".

The 10-meter falls surrounded by lush greenery and a small cave adding to a mystic charm is a sight to behold. Plunge in the pool for a refreshing dip, but do be sure to check the depth and water conditions first. If Meekadarabee Falls is busy when you arrive, The Kevel Road Waterfall is a less known similar experience with crystal-clear water cascading over mossy rocks and a shallow pool ready for a splash.

Enjoy the culturally significant land of Meekadarabee Falls and The Kevel Road Waterfall. Make sure to respect the Wadandi people’s heritage by sticking to designated walking paths, avoid disturbing the natural environment, and leave no trace behind. When going into the water, submerged rocks, trees, and branches pose a threat that you can get caught on. Make sure to enter the water safely, check the depth and water conditions.
