Basic facilities include one unisex chemical toilet with disabled access, but there are no showers. Campfires are permitted in the firepots provided unless there's a fire ban. Campers must bring their own drinking water and firewood. The campground is closed during winter due to cold conditions and reopens from the last Saturday in July each year.

One of the highlights of Jonah Bay is its excellent fishing opportunities. Arthurs Lake is known for its good catch rate of wild brown trout, making it a popular spot for fly fishing. There's also a boat ramp available for those who want to explore the lake by kayak or boat. The area is perfect for a peaceful night's stay when traveling between other destinations in Tasmania, with nearby attractions including the historic Waddamana Power Station Heritage Site and the charming village of Bothwell.
